I was watching the Mecum car auctions in Houston over the weekend & saw the GT40 that went for $7 MILLION... OMG!!! That got me thinking what cars I would love to own if $$$ was no object! SO... here's my list & not necessarily in this order!

1) Super Snake
2) Hemi Superbird
3) BMW Z8 (one of the most beautiful cars ever made IMO)
4) Thunderbolt
5) Yenko Super Coupe
6) Ferrari Daytona (Ferrari Red of course)
7) '67 tri-power 4-speed 427 Vette roadster (silver)
8) '64 GTO tri-power 4-speed (triple black with reverb unit)
9) '71 426 Hemi Cuda 4-speed
10) My Chevelle with a blown ZR1 Vette motor (throw in a lil NOS for good measure)

A Corvette lover woke up, finding himself laying on the hood of a 1970 L-88 powered monster with all the road race options one could have ordered. THE rarest of the rare.

Gaining some stability, he stood up and looked around himself, with disbelieving eyes, as far as he cloud see was Corvettes of every age and every option, known, and unknown to mankind.

Door handle to door handle, bumper to bumper, every conceivable option, every color of the rainbow, every Corvette known to exist was within sight of this Corvette lover, form the northern horizon to the southern horizon, as far east and as far west as he could see was, CORVETTES!!!!!!!!!!

He ran giddily from one to the other, they all had keys in them, they were all full of gas, as far as he could tell. He would spend the rest of his life burning every drop of gas in every tank.

Then he heard it, there it was again, where was that hideous noise coming from? He kept moving from car to car. Finally he came to a pristine black convertible, in fact it was a triple black Corvette, and to go with the black paint, black interior and black soft top, it also had the nastiest set of wide black tires on gloss black wheels ever seen by man.

There was some one sitting in it laughing at him, as he circled it to get a better view of the person in the drivers seat, he realized it was a middle aged looking man of medium build and what would be considered to be waspish good looks, thin of features and high of brow. Dressed in a perfectly cut formal Tuxedo, with an impeccable white shirt, and a perfectly tied Four-in-Hand tie. He looked the Corvette Lover in the eye, and as the Corvette Lover stared back into the mans gaze he could feel a cold shiver run down his spine and turn into giant goose bumps over every inch of his skin.

The Corvette lover used every ounce of courage to say, "Am I in heaven?" The man in the Tuxedo, Smiled the smallest of smiles and barely audible to the Corvette Lover said, "No, this is not Heaven." to which the Corvette Lover replied "But surely you jest, this must be Heaven, here is every Corvette I lusted after during my life. They are all full of gas, and each has a key in it. How could this not be heaven?"

The little man behind the wheel, leaned over to the passenger door the Corvette Lover now found himself standing next to and said, with a twinkle in his eye, "There are NO roads! Allow me to introduce myself, they call me Lucifer."
