well i want to frame to sit 4 inches above the ground when everything is put in. i dont want to just build it without thinking it through , then end up finding out when i drop the engine in the frame touches the ground . no what i mean? THANKS FOR EVERYONES INPUT . THIS INFO HELPS OUT A LOT

How you guys doin? Ok , so iam building a frame at the moment. And i was wondering if any one new about how many inches my frame will drop once i bolt down the engine and trans. Iam goin to place a 350/ 350 package , so anyone have a good estimate. I want my frame to sit about 4 inch above...

Iam starting out my frame for my 40 chevy . Iam using 2 by 4 rec tubing and my question was on the front part where i am welding the mustang ii front end, does the frame portion need to be parallel to the floor ? Or a 10 degree off set to the floor for steering purposes?
