I've been trying to get the rear drums off for a couple days with no luck. A freind says to remove the rivits holding the drum to the flange. He says the lug bolts will hold the drum to the flange. anybody ever do this?
I rebuilt the flathead 6 in my 51 plymouth, all stock. got it back in and cant get it to turn over fast enough to start. the starter was rebuilt while the motor was out, has a new battery & solenoid . it will barely crank over, if i pull all the plugs out it turns over fine......any advice will...
i was wondering if anybody could help me out with main bearing clearances for a 53 dodge 218 flat 6. i finally got around to pulling the engine & want to install new mains,rings & a valve job. any info ideas are appreciated thanks
i picked this up yesterday, seems to be pretty together.drove it home (about 75 miles).motor runs 40 psi of oil pressure but smokes on deceleration.still has 6 volt system & id like to convert to 12,any help ,info, ideas will be welcome.
this is the intake i want to run, looking at vintage speed 4 barrel adapters & two rochester 2 barrels on each side.thats around 1200cfm,thats alot of fuel for my motor.i really like the intake & should probley run 2 390 holley carbs...any thoughts would be helpful.thanks....
im runnin a model a radiator,i had it rebuilt but didnt know that its not designed to hold pressure.can i close off the stock filler & add a new filler with a pressure cap?
