I gave braiding wire a shot. Cut up a old battery cable and cut some 1/2" pipe. took a while to figure out how to braid the wire but I got it down. Making all the ground leads now.

6 strand on that one, I'm doing 7 on the next one. The braid look the same but it fits the 1/2" copper pipe better.

I found one more thing that needs holes, Driver side mirror mount. Had a scrap piece of pipe to make a collar around the top mount but the drill press hooked it so I have to make another one, put almost had it done.

Thanks guys, glad you guys like it. Sarge i'll buy into it looking like a erector set. Got the main mount done, was just going to put a little round motorcycle mirror on. But figured I would try to make one, still need to cut the mounting stud down a bit and thread it so it will be about 3/4" closer. still could go either way.
