Hope you don't mind if I steal a few of your design ideas for a future build, Mike.

BTW, I've built two cars with front quarter elliptic springs with no panhard rod. No problem.

Some of your work is showing up on my Facebook site in the Rat Rod Magazine link. You're becoming famous!

Bob steal away. And thanks for the info, I have looked at alot of set ups with bones and 4 link with 1/4's on shackles. Even on some of the high dollar builds nothing was triangulated or had a panhard, and after getting this one setup I was surprised on how hard it is to get any side walk on the axle.

BTW the whole Facebook Rat Rod Magazine site postings started as a fluke. One of my friends posted his ride for submission on the timeline. So I checked it out, and saw some RRR guy's also posted up for a submission for their timeline. I thought what the hay so I submitted one, who knew :D. Now I just post and and tag everything with my RRR handle just to see if any other RRR member comment with ________was here (FB tag, you're it).

And a second BTW, Had I knew my FB account was going to blow up over doing that I would of had second thoughts.

The part time job doesn't feel part time.

Managed to get in the garage today and work out a bug that has plagued this build for a while. Think I have it worked out, more drilled brackets. 4 down and 4 to go.

Neither, I'm more the drink right out of the jug [ddd so I don't have to wash the half full/empty dirty glass .

All caught up on the part time gig so now have a week or two for some progress. The master plan on the door hinges almost worked. Had one door tacked in place, went to open the door and figured out I needed a 1/2" more on the bottom hinge. then figured out with the one piece construction I couldn't get the door back off. So back to the drawing board and with a little modification I now have hinges.

Thanks guys. Well Larry doesn't look like the old pile anymore.

So now that I have a swinging door I need something to keep it closed, how hard could that be. Well when you're the type that can't leave well enough alone what could happen, lots of bandsaw time and more of those darn holes. Didn't get the faceplate done.

Mike, The hinges and latches are too cool. At a show there a small number of lookers that will realize you hand crafted those parts. They are the ones that count.
