got the ladderbars made today, ill get some pics. brought the caddy engine home, gonna start triangulating the frame this weekend... ill get pics[P

got busy on the 41 today, took the cab off and took the frame to our shop in louisville, heres some pics.. cut the s-10 frame to make a backhalf for the 41. the origional frame has way too many pits for my comfort.[cl the frame slid into the other perfectly, had to go back about 14" and notch the frame so the front of the s-10 frame would taper to match the 41...

lookin good.

i dont want to rain on your paraid but, your rear tires. they have a very cool factor indeed, i have them on my quads. there to soft to run on the street and you risk putting your hard work into a ditch and or someones elses rear bumper. it would suck to do all that hard work to smash it for the cool factor.

just there for mock up, i learned not to buy new tires at the start of a build, they might be dryrotted before your done.... thanks for the headsup though.[P

hey on your front end , mainly the shackle area, you are going to find that the shackle is going to jit the upright you have made. Rule of thumb is that with no weight at all on your spring the shackles should be straight out from the spring eye so that when the weight of the vehicle is on it, they will be at a 45deg angle. As it is now when the weight comes down, the shackle will want to be straight down and then it will hit the upright. Might want to think about putting the outer shackle mount out on the bat wing plate you built. That will give you more width and let the shackle swing under without hitting anything. Just my $.02
