been a member for a while but havent made a build thread for this yet. its been going on for around 8 or 9 years now as a side project for when we have a break during regular work and dont have any of our chevelles going on. its been a fun process on learning chassis construtcion since weve made the frame from scratch using dimensions off of another frame and using the back 1/3 of the original and 2x4 box tubing. when we first go the project it came with a frame but had ****ty ifs set-up and we wante to go with a solid front so it was hacked off and replaced. powerplant/drivetrain consists of a freshened up 331 hemi out of a 54 de_soto, 4spd muncie trans with hothead adapter plate, custom length driveshaft, and a ford 9" rear w/ custom 4link. suspension wise we are using lakewood coilovers all 4corners. wheel/tires are vintage raider style wheels w/ coker white wall cheater slicks in the rear and coker front runner white walls in the front. the body also has either a 6" or 7" body drop.

dang that needs finished and on the road..that hemi looks awesome,nothing says hot rod like a hemi..love it

haha. yea im real good friends with the owner and the painter. scotts worked on some of my cars and is working on a twin turbo saleen right now and has built a few 1000+ fox bodys

thanks man, i kinda wanted to stay away from chevy powerplant since we restore chevelles. but we had extra trans laying around though so we went ahead used it.
