has anyone used an engine other the the big 3's engine, like a japanese or european engine in there build before, besides aircraft engine?

im thinking about trying to do this fall and was wondering if anyone else has done anything like it before?

I've gone the other direction with it, I've put an auto engine in an airplane, and it was the German built 2000cc Ford. I have all 3 points of your question covered, just not the same kind of build! Sniper

If you do it, I would go with a German engine like Sniper did, the Japanese don't know what torque is.

I almost went with a toyota 22r carb or early 80's twin cam 4 cyl toyota, was going to use a 2wd truck tranny with it.
