got the floors cut out, man what a huge job. goin back together, im gettin pictures along the way. ill post them tomorrow...
 
It looks like the frame would go up into the bed pretty easy. I think it would be worth the effort. The bed itself looks great, but I would drop it some.
 
something else ive been kickin around, i think im gonna steal somethin from bonehead. i think im gonna put a cage in it, with the rear tubes running through the mailslot (window) not only looks cool as can be, but is a very functional safety....:cool:
 
had tpo bring it home from the shop in louisville, to measure for cab mounts, heres a few pics of what i have done.

also got the disc brake kit ordered from speedway motors, hard to beat their prices. will get more pictures today.any advise on a steering column, i have a chrysler fluid drive, but its pretty rough!!..:D
 
:Dwhats the best way to suicide the doors, kinda wanna keep with the ruff look, kinda outrageous. this cab is really rough shape, just wanna keep it around a few years more. i hate to see people scrap them..

Been thinking about suiciding mine too, if I do I'll probably use whats already there. Same hinges and latches, seems like it wouldn't be that hard.
 
got the cab sittin back on it to measure the cab mounts, i think the 2.5" channel and 5" bed drop turned out pretty good. MY WIFE EVEN SMILED, AND THERE WAS NO LAUGHING INVOLVED!!!!:rolleyes:
