Awesome build dude! One of my favorites for sure. RR[cl

Thanks man!

Getting cold here to be driving it around with no windows in it! I think "Steve" is done for the winter.

Looking forward to working on it this winter though. If money permits will get the glass in, gauges, new clutch that holds better, Locker in the rear, finish the little things that need to be done etc...

Thinking maybe i'll give up the wish to keep a mechanical fan. If i go to electric i can lower the rad/grille in the front and get it down more where it should be. ????

Wish i had money for a nice motor this winter.. but that will have to wait another year at least.

Well out goes the 305 and in goes a 454. Will be rebuilt(461). Making new headers for it now. Started running real pipe today. Used some water drainage hose to mock them up. Went better than expected. What you see only has 2 welds per pipe so far. I'm sure that will change though once i try to get them all into the collector though.

Will have to get the new 4" side pipes mounted before i can run them into the collector though.

Going for big and wild looking. And loud as h@ll with the cutouts open.
2.25" primarys, 4" side pipe. Will have 2 outlets on the side pipe. One muffled and one straight thru.

The other side is done. Holy crap is it SUPER HARD to try and make both sides look the same. We spent 11 hours tacking... cutting, tacking, looking, measuring, tacking, cutting... all to get 4 pipes done.... WHEW!!

This is as good as i can get them. Not perfect but with the exhaust ports being about an inch back further than the other side due to being able to use either head on either side it messed things up a bit.

This pic is with the headers just tacked up. i have them all welded up now but need to get the dual outlets(one muffled, one open) on the side pipes done before it all done.

Just for giggles i have kept track of my hours in the shop working on headers. If i include my 16 mockups, so far I have 132 hours invested in these things!! YIKES! I got a feeling it will be 150 or so by the time i'm all done.

Got the headers back from the ceramic coaters today. Just layed some parts on my empty block so i could see them. Side pipes were done too.

Still need some more money before i can finish the big block.
