One of my favorite truck bodies as far as syling goes. Would love to have one for my self. My dad bought a '55 new. Good memories of it. The body doesn't need much more than cleaning up, the styling is already great. Put the money in performance and handling. Just my opinion.

THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT MY PLANS HAVE BEEN. FROM THE FIRST MOMENT I LAID MY EYES ON IT.
I told my self .... I THINK IT WILL BUFF OUT AND LOOK GREAT NO NEED FOR PAINT !

the pin stripe was on it and the punky front wheels are the old gasser style look i am kinda trying to pull off.. and they look better than the cragers that where on it... had them lying around and put them to use ...lol the truck is in great shape ! it well deserves to be done up right .but i cant afford to do a frame off resto . so it will be just fine getting back in operation and driving it on the road again. maybe some day ...allot of fun to be had with it just the way it is.

I meant the smallish front tires more than the rim - well, small compare to the opening.. Maybe loose the front bumper ....and a set of fender well headers might help too....

workin on it !

well i got the torque converter yesterday,and came home and too the bed off .got the pressure washer out and cleaned the ? many years of gunk and grime off the frame. time for some paint.will try and get some pictures up later . cuz i know how all you don`t like pictures...!

making progress

made some progress today ! took the bed off yesterday and broke out the pressure washer ! then today i went paint crazy....and pulled the ugly rear bumper and inner fender wells . its starting to look like a HOT ROD.
PLAN ON PUTTING A ROLL PAN ON THE REAR .AND SOME OLD CADY TAIL LIGHTS[dr
MY BUDDY PICKED ME UP SOME STICKERS FOR THE WIND SHIELD AND THE TAILGATE. L.O,L
ITS GOT A NAME ( BAD NEIGHBOR )

I have a 373 pos. going to put in the 57 just to wake it up a little. the 308 one wheel wonder just didn`t cut it. 10:21 @ 71.233 lmao
