HAVE 2DR COUPE 27 CHRYSLER STREET ROD, 350 WITH A 32 SHELL,RADIATOR HAS A PLASTIC DRAIN PLUG,BROKE THE PLUG CANT FIND ONE,ITS A WEIRD SIZE,NORMAL 1/4 PET COCK WONT WORK,WENT TO PART STORES CANT FIND NOTHING,DONT KNOW WHERE RADIATOR CAME FROM,ANY BODY OUT THERE HAVE A RADIATOR WITH A PLASTIC DRAIN PLUG IF SO WHERE DID YA GET IT HELP?[S

I just brought home a bunch of crap from a building that was being torn down. This oddball draincock was in it. It doesn't look like it has any threads at all. Motomite part no. 61109. This one says it's application is '80 & up Escort/Lynx. Hope this helps.

is there enough room to tap a 1/4"? all ya need is a pipe tap if so.

I've got 2 alum rad's. Both, I'm sure are made in........er overseas. They have plastic drain plugs, but I have'nt had to look for one yet. Your best bet may be to take the remains and go to your local wrecking yard and go to the ricer section. They probably use some metric bs thread.

Any plastic radiator or one assembled with adhesive is bound to fail at one point or another, for this reason I only use metal radiator. . . [P
