body welded to the frame

I am curious how many of you weld the body to the frame.

I understand guys used to do that many years ago when old car bodies were plentiful and cheap, but no one would do it now.

It's just pure laziness and will become a nightmare when you need to take the body off (and you will!)

X2. That hasn't been done in lots of years for lots of reasons. Biggest reason is that the body will have to come off at some point in the future and you will regret it bigtime.

It is done everyday, sorta with all the unibody cars being built. Years ago we welded race car bodies to frames.

I've seen a couple of builds on here where the body is welded to the frame. Not a good idea.
