With the rear end fabrication complete i turned my attention to the front. The front wishbones i purchased from a guy who directly threaded the bones with no bung attached. He also used ginormous heims joint which i didn't like the looks of.

so i cut, drilled, and prepped my bones for weld in bungs so i could run Ford tie rod ends.

That was a smart way to mount the control arms on that bridge over the center section. That will give you a strong mounting spot. It is also so refreshing to see someone who actually cleans metal down to shiny before welding to it........I see so many who weld to rusted metal.

Coming along great.:D

I learned it by watching your builds! Although my work is no where near yours.

Thanks for the compliments.

Setting up my front end. Have the wish bone rod mounting brackets clamped into place ready for a tack weld. My spring shackle angle looks a little flat, 45 degrees is best i know, but i'm wondering if my set up will work?

I thought Don answered that in the other post, and he has the exact plan to follow by removing leafs to get your shackle angles close to 45 degrees

removed half the leafs and seems to look a lot better.

Tacked in my wishbone mounts.
