Are you warm yet? We need to get some more of this

I'm setting up the same front axle with an '36 chev cab and smallblock
Can you tell me how far it is from the back of the engine to the front spring centre,yours looks long but it will look good with the front down
Have you thought about your shocks yet? I have new set of Jakes here but I really would like some lever shocks

Hey Phil, so sorry for the lack of updates. I've been so busy and i hope to get back to it soon.

From the back of the engine to the spring center is 44 1/4 inches. Don't know about shocks yet but i'm leaning towards friction shocks. I hope to start back on the car soon.
 
Ok have the ceiling in my shop insulated and covered!![cl Hopefully i can get back to the car now!!

ok before i get to the updates i had to show how my insulation is working.

1st pic is outside temp, 2nd is inside the shop... Toasty!!

the firewall was already recessed however i needed to extend the recess a few more inches to accomodate my distributor.


here is the firewall before.

Here i'm putting the body back on the frame, which is tricky when your by yourself.

put some seat cushions down (don't worry these are not the seats i will run) so i could get an idea of where my steering column will go.
