A multi port intake with the throttle body blocked off

and the / a top machined for it.....??? Always wondered if that could be done....guess someone did....

AND missing the top center runner bolt too!

Those intakes were never ment to flow a wet mixture. We had a heck of a time on one we turbo'ed getting the methanol to flow into the runners evenly. #2 cylinder would run lean compared to the others and #7 would run richer than the others...[S

It also looks like the center carb is the only one working - only one with a throttle cable, no other linkage. [S

There is a rod hooked to the front carb, but the rear rod looks to be disconnected.

The guys that put this together (a father and son) say it runs pretty good, but they had to do a lot of experimenting with baffle placement inside the plenum.

Isn't that just a spring holding the front carb shut? I dont see any other linkage to it. I agree that it looks like only the center carb is used.
