got some more done on the body last night.

as stated before, i used 1945 ford fenders for the rear corners of the bucket body.
added some new metal after rolling a step lip. this lip will let the two pieces of metal lay over each other but be level with each other on the outer side.

also made a back center section and even welded in some ford script i had from the truck fenders.

started some tacking to hold em together, while i am working on the inner skeleton. the doors will come back off for hinge work after the floor bracing is all in and done.

scored a rear spring,tank, and tail light at the adrian swapmeet a few weekends back. so i made some tank brackets and got all three lights mocked up and in place.

i will use leather belting to cover the straps around the tank, the two outer lights are speedway model a 's, the center is a big ol bus light it will have stop lettered into it to match the teardrop.

I see!! I might have to swing by on my way through one day!! I am over in the Holland Area most of the time. Off airport highway west of 475! My dumb old dodge sits over there off Holloway road.............
 
hell yeah i used to live on holloway, right accross from interstate batteries, i run the smittys automotive just up from there on airport and reynolds, most times i have some ol tin rolling around in the shop stop by sometime. george

and some more. dual wheel cylinder front brakes, rear brakes. brake,fuel lines done and most of the electrical done.

body coming back off this weekend for paint. while thats drying i'll go ahead and do the motor and trans install.

new chrome grille shell should be here this week. along with some engine chrome and aluminum goodies.

with everything including machine work on motor i'm up to 1800.00 bucks and just over 4 months.

thanks guys there didnt seem to be that much intrest here for this build so i kinda slacked off on the updates.
i will work in more photo's and better detail'd descripts from now on for those interested, thanks again.
