Hello everyone, Adam and Kirstin from Wheaton Illinois. We just picked up our first "Rat Rod" Project. The previous owner did quite a bit of work to this car and ran out of cash. The pics below are first day home. Even the tires still have the stickers on the tread. So we picked it up for a song and a dance. its a 51 chevy with a heavy chop. 59 Chrysler tail lights, 51 Merc grille and 55 Merc skirts. We look forward to getting it on the road soon and learning alot from this forum.

Thanks everybody!!! Our plans at this time are to just get it back together, hit some shows ask LOTS of questions on here and start tweaking her over the winter. And yes one of our plans is to drop her!!
