Hey there!

First of all...Awesome Forum!

Second...Awesome group of guys!

I'm a timber-frame carpenter and I primarily restore 100 yr old barns in Southern Wisconsin. My son is into cars and has owned and worked on more VWs than I can count, and he's only 20.

I'm new to the Rot Rod thing, but I would like to build a cross between a '47 Ford F100 pickup, a rock crawler, and a mud-dragster, and make it street legal.

So, am I crazy?

naaaa, no worse than my buddy's race car he made street legal, a full on sprint car.

l know of a guy making a 2 seat sprint car so he can take his wife and a 40 ford dirt car street legal.

crazy is in the eye of the beholder.

Grocery getter!

I tried attaching a jpg paint drawing of the concept for my future build...I'm in the early stages of design, so be kind.

Bag lift suspension?
Beer keg fuel tank
Off road lights
Canvas bed cover...for tools or groceries...
