Some real patina

Unfortunately these and about twenty others met the crusher last year despite some desperate attempts to save them. :eek::mad: The old guy who owned them wouldn't negotiate on price. :mad: At least I got some pics! The oval window dub was sweet!!! A factory sunroof etc...

Real as opposed to artificial rust??? Yes, oxidized iron = rust! I believe you! :D

As opposed to the fake **** you see at some car shows. .....painted on rust streaks and stuff.


I saw a fiberglass car with imitation unfinished welds from chopping the top. They painted it to look like the adjacent areas to the "weld" had rusted too. Oh yeah, the car also had rust pits ground/drilled into the surface in places.

Queer if you ask me.
