It was a spring feed watering hole. Now it's a pond.

Didn't work on the truck last week. I had to go to Cali to visit my 92 year old mother while contractors do termite repairs and a new roof! Glad I didn't have to do it again. My dad and I did it 35 years ago when I was well 35 years younger! This should be the last roof we put on this house!

The cowl, doors and the rear panel are now connected. The subframe on the rear was long enough to weld the A pillar to it.
The doors are as aligned as it going to get! Now to get it braced before I cut the rest of the floor out.

Thanks guy! I'm more of a hack with a welder.
Today I welded some braces in the cab and tried to weld some metal to the bottom of the B pillars and subframe.
Then I chopped what left of the crossmembers and dropped it over the frame.

Set the body as close as I could to the engine. Now to build a new subframe with 1x2 and 1x1. There will only be a small transmission hump.

Maybe I'll use these on the pickup or maybe I'll use them on the 34 Coupe.!?

Got most of the floor subframe built using 1x2 on the frame and attaching the A and B pillars with 1x1. I still need to attach the cowl and rear.
Now to build a transmission hump and floor.

Finished up the perimeter of the subframe. Still need to drill 2 holes. Then on to the transmission.

Cut a couple pieces for the front floor around the transmission and I'm out of Argon CO²! Of course holiday weekend.

Found the floor out of the F1 Rat Rod and by golly half my floor is done! Just do some trimming and section it it comes to the crossmember behind the transmission.

eBay universal brake pedal set up with supposedly correct drum brake master. It actually fits pretty close.
I'll need to shorten the bracket that attaches to the frame couple inches and the same with the pedal. The push rod will need to be cut to length.

Shortened the universal bracket to move everything to the left. Then I bent the pedal a little too clear the engine.

I always get a little excited here! Picked some sheet metal for the floor, bed and door panels.

Got most of the firewall done. Wow, my brain hurts from doing the firewall.
Got the Corvair steering box mocked up. I'm using it because there is no room to put a box in the original location.
Cut the old F1 floor up for the rear of the cab floor.
