Finished the brake lines using CuNi tubing. I like it, very easy to use.

Mounted the front shock using a modified F1 shock mount and a modified Pontiac Safari shock.

Sheet metal work today. Finished the firewall and filled up a bunch of holes. There are a couple bigger ones I didn't fill and might use those for electrical. Also got the passenger side tone.

I was doing the back brakes. I'm waiting for wheel cylinders. I had to figure out what GM 10 bolt I had first.
The way the backing plates bolt on was someone I've never seen before and the wheel cylinders were held on by clips!
Figured out it was mid 80s rear. Brakes and stuff was the same as earlier years.
I found 5 brake drums. 2 have to be good!

I finished up the back brakes using good leftover and used parts from other differentials. New wheel cylinders though!
Popped the rear cover of to inspect and change fluid. Probably should have check it out before I put it in. But I was told it was good and it was. It was even a 3.42:1 ratio.

Probably a S10 rear end. Some of them used those goofy clips.

I was gone last week so no work on the truck. We went to Florida to the Homestead race and a little peacock bass fishing. Went to Little Havana for a culinary tour. The food was awesome.

Got the headlights mounted and did some sheet metal work on the floor.

Got some work done this weekend because I knew I would get much done this week. Went in for toe surgery Monday. Everything went well.
Any way I got the trans tunnel done and hooked up hoses, trans cooler lines etc.

My wife and I bead rolled the floor for the bed. Did it in 3 sections to fit in the roller. I think it turned out pretty good.

Today I received parts! Exhaust manifold gaskets and freeze plugs. Top wood kit. Boy this will be fun to make fit!
Not sure if the front cowl and doors are from a pickup. Things are just not lining up right. I may have to chop and make adjustments.

Wow! Been a couple months since I posted anything. I have made progress on the truck.
Finished the exhaust. Stock manifolds with 2" pipes and glass pack mufflers.
