Hello there. Just came across the site link while at the Houston Autorama yeasterday. Boy there were some great cars there and a great turnout. Any how, I am an old time car nut since a very early age and was always into building and putting together really weird combinations and love metal work and ummm, I like fiberglass but don't love it! I mess with it too much with the buggy biz so it is not nearly as relaxing as metal work. Oh yes, I build new Manx style fiberglass dune buggy bodies, chassis, cages and get to do some metal work there. I am in the big city of Victoria Texas which is central to Houston, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and Austin Texas. I enjoy the build more than the drive. Once they are about 90%, they need a new owner so i can feed my crazy need for the next project. I have owned a 33 Dodge a lot of later cars, trucks and a lot of Jeeps and VW's and now I am looking for a mid 50 model Chevy pickup project to sit on S-10 frame. Anyways, this looks like a really great site and keep the project pictures coming.

Welcome to RRR, Texasbuggys. Late 47-early 55 Chevy trucks are a favorite of mine. Post some pics of some of your past projects & maybe some of the buggys when you get the chance.

Welcome, Texasbuggys.
The old Meyers style buggies are cool, I've owned 2 of them over the years.
Post some photos of your buggies when you can, we would enjoy seeing them. :D

I am thinking z-frame, stretched out body sitting over the frame rails and just to be really odd, VW flat four up front. What do ya think? Also post up pics or links of some z-framed projects.
