That's looking pretty cool! Are you running manual disk/disk brakes? I like the idea for simplicity, but would sure like to hear some feed back on how well that set up works. It takes more leg power. Some guys have gorilla legs. Not me, everyone thinks I'm riding a chicken!

Yes sir manual disk/disk, heck when I built my Shelby I got it up and running with the 4.0L blower and I had the pre production unit for a cobra jet so it didn't have a connection for the vacuum line for the brake booster and I ran that sucker up to 100mph and had to stop it with those big brembos up front through the booster without any assist no problems so I figured I should be fine to run manual brakes on this little thing!

Working on the bed, started at the body line decided to drop it 4" and add another bend to bring the lip out over the tires more to meet the edge of the cab. Also going to start at the front of the bed and cut up at an angle to behind the wheel all the way to the back of the bed leaving 9" below the bed floor at the very back where a roll pan will be

I'm more a fan with it at the belt line on the cab. Also, I originally made mine with the sides going that far down to the ground, I decided it looks much better being not that "deep" for lack of better terms...

Now that I've looked at it again, the bed I think looks good lowered, but might need to be trimmed to match the bottom of the door line to really look correct?

I have been anticipating this area of my build. I will be building my own box ax well. Having less box revealed above the tire looks good on your truck.

On these old Fords the bottom of the door forms the lower edge of the cab with no rocker panel. I have considered building a "rocker panel". This would add a couple of inches to the bottom of the cab, rather than channeling the cab over the frame.

It would really alter the look of the truck, so I'm just thinking about it now. I'm no good with photo shop, so it's all in my head. [S

You could just trim the bottom off the bed sides.

Looking good bud!!! Only thing I am noticing though is the floor seems to be one or two pedals short [S

We wanted to build the floor/trans tunnel to see what kind of gas pedal I would need so I'm ordering that today now along with new door latches and my steering wheel

Ahhh gotcha. Was going to say it will be kinda hard to drive with no go button.

Kinda hard to steer with no steering wheel too

Ordering the gas pedal, door latches, steering wheel, and looking into push button ignition and some of the electronic stuff now

Here's the last of the pics, as it sits right now I am going to dive into electrical, and freshening up the engine so here's some of the plans:

Engine:

Valve springs
Push Rods
Oil Pump
Cam
Standalone wiring harness

Electrical:

Tail Lights
Headlights
Gauges
Horn
Reverse Lights

Once I take care of all that, its getting shipped off to a friend to do a fuel system and for him to tidy up odds and ends and get it PA inspected and legal before finally going back to him and getting the turbo setup, still debating whether I want to use a grill or just leave the rad up front.... hmmm
