I have been looking for a set of vintage finned valve covers for my sbf. I wanted a set with no filler holes, hard to find. Edelbrock makes a set but they are $240. This set does have one filler hole but the price was right.

Good scrore for sure. I bought the new Edelbrocks you mentioned because they were tall enough to clear my roller rockers. But when I went to put them on my Son said "How are you going to add oil?" I had forgotten about that, so I added two Moon breathers. How were you going to add oil if you got ones with no holes?

Yup.
I had a set of staggered hole sbc Cal Customs that I really like the looks of best. I had toyed with the idea of making a set of adapter plates so I could use them. But at this point I don't need to spend more time making stuff fit.lol.

The breather hole is an easy fix. Take a piece of aluminum and make a round cover and use either use JB Weld or silicone to attach it to the valve cover.

Yeah, I was thinking of having my machinist make a finned piece to cover it.
