I personally would buy the 46 and ditch the whole chassis. It is too wide front and rear, use only the body and build a frame. You likely could sell the old chassis for enough to build most of a new one. another option would be to have the dually rear and axles narrowed to fit under the wheelwells.

The 53 looks like the better of the two to start with. However, if you don't like it keep looking. I wouldn't want to try and make something of the 46, even though it's the more stylish of the two.
