thanks guys,i got it at six now,but i think my wish bones are to low,its 6.25 from ground to center of heim joint on the end of bone,it sits paralell to frame just under it
Ive done some on a 51,no honing needed,the right side came out fairly easy,the left was a diffarent story,it was pain,used a big hammer and a air hammer and a few choice words
i changed it to around 130'',it looked a little to long,i got some pics but dont how to post them,im sorry for the loss of your dad,i lost mine in 2007,he sounded just like your's,always doing something in the garage
I just did a conversion on a 51 gmc using the complete kit that brothers truck sells,very simple,used the stock column,really didnt like the bump steer it produced,not as bad as the 50 we got with a rack and straight axle
i have a 2.8 liter v 6 and a five speed trans that i can put in my 50 f-1 truck,its gonna be no fenders,short bed,im having a problem with the coolnes factor,need some opinions,should i keep looking for a 8 or just use it
