No wonder she cant get rid of these cars[S. She wants too much money for the ones that are advertised. Price them reasonably, like under a grand each, and they would prolly sell like hot cakes. Lots of nice, restorable cars that i would love to have though...Scrap price is only bring 5-600 bucks...

Need some help with my Poncho.

You sure you have a torque-tube in your 52? My 54 Poncho had an open drive-line in it with the flat-8/hydramatic. Double check, Pontiac started with open driveshafts earlier like Olds and Caddys. Good luck with your Poncho, loved mine and sure do miss it...

    1950 chieftain need help

The original starter & points/condensor will work fine. You'll have to change the coil to 12v style, the 6v generator to an 12v altenator, all your bulbs to 12v and put a resistor inline to your gas guage and radio. For the carb, if that has the original 2bbl, a 283/307 small rochester 2bbl...

    Fuel mileage poll

307 sbc w/ a 700r4. Stock aluminum intake with a late model non electronic Quadrajet with a summit R/V cam. I got 20-25mpg all day long in my old 60 Biscayne w/3:55 gears. OD+long stroke motor=torque=good mpg. Had great power too...I miss that car...305 should do the same, but I think the 307 is...
