If you have to pump the peddle a couple times, then you DO have some air in the lines. The simplest way to clear all the air, is to cut a stick, use a block of wood, or some sort of rod, then wedge it on the peddle and under the dash, leave it over night, and the residual air should be naturally...

Welcome to the "Fat Fender Society" and big boy truck club....lololol :D I am using a 71 Chevy C20 chassis for mine and it requires that I use 31.5 x 15" wheels and rubber. Once sitting on the frame, the bottom of the cab is skirted 16" over the chassis wall and only has a smidgen of space...
