The truck is really turning out great! You have some great skills there, can`t wait to see more, but right now take care of those health issues and we`ll all be here waiting patiently.

Hey Guys
thanks for the good words. been a little slow with the work on my rod this past mo. hope to do a test ride this saturday. the lathe is one I built about 40 years ago when I was young and broke. in the years between then and now I had a hole machine shop at my home:D..... but divorce has a way of wipeing a guy out. I'm glad I held on to it all those years you would not belive the parts I have made or repaired with it. just need the will to do something and most people will find a way.

FINSHED.........almost

Hey guys
sorry it's been taken me so long to post. a lot of little stuff needed to be done. got her back from the glass shop on wed. took a few quick pic's here they are

I need to have the pin striping done, and she will be finshed. she runs real good....... a little bump steer but its ok. tracks real good (I like that on the freeway) my kingpin angle is almost 8 deg. the ride is good too. in the future I'm going to get rid of the BIG gas tank in the bed:eek: put in a round alum one or make one to fit under the bed, now I know how much room I have. I will post good pictures soon.

:D I want to THANK ALL YOU who have given me advice and ecouragement Doug&Sweetpea
