    Another 1928 Tudor A-Bone

I ended up making a tool to fit inside the center hinge pin tube. Then I clamped onto it with a pair of vice grips and beat it out. No harm to the hood panels. The pin isn't much worse off than it already was. [ddd I can order new pins if I decide to use all or part of the hood. I've been...

    Custom Mopar ????

I don't foresee any issues that could arise form this little stretch. What shows in a door gap will not be noticed in the wheel opening position. Or should I have not said that? :D[ddd

    Dr Crankinstien

[cl Good to hear that the good Doctor is surviving, adjusting, and doin' what needs doin'. I can assure y'all of one thing, if I were in his shoes, I'd be cranky as all ... I suspect he will be back in due time. [cl

    Gas line and Exhaust

How close is the exhaust to the fuel line? If you have a couple inches, you are likely safe with nothing. Assuming it is not an over the top "fire breather". For peace of mine, a reflective shield, or wrap can't hurt. If the fuel line is inside the frame rail, and the exhaust is outside, the...

    New toy

First thing is to turn it around so the motor is in back. Sorry, couldn't help myself. ;)[ddd That is a cute little antique. Likely better quality than my import mini-lathe. It will be fun learning how to use it.

    New toy

You can get a more domesticated model like mine. Small, quiet, and house broken. It lives in my living room. I use it to spin up pool cues. :D Expect to spend more on tooling than the lathe. Of course, having one leads to wanting a milling machine. And they are a whole other can of worms.

    Frame Table

Spring height should be in the Speedway catalog. I believe the spring rate (how much weight it is designed to handle) should also be in the catalog. It is one of the parameters you should consider when ordering. Travel will be only a couple inches with the right spring. To the pros out...

    Engine Section Frame Rails Question

It is always better to have a bit extra, so to speak. :p The bell-housing part of the engine doesn't really need to be out in the open, so you might be able to fudge that a little. Where is the distributor? If it is in the back, you need clearance for it. If you have all your pieces, line them...

    64 "moredoor"

There is a relatively decent running 60 Biscayne close to me for $8500. I'm not quite tempted enough to do anything about it. But if I was more in the market, it would work.
