Quarter Elliptical springs, where to buy?

A horizontal band saw would probably be best, in my opinion anyhow.

    Cadillac 500

Hey was cruising craigslist and came across this http://desmoines.craigslist.org/pts/4634537654.html and remembered seeing this thread. Good luck with your block!

    stuck in Denver

This may seem weird, but did you check the coolant? Not sure about the Dodges, but on Powerstrokes if the coolant is low they run and act how you're describing.

    1953 Dodge Panel Truck

Personnaly I would say using the best body and a donor, S10/Dakota, would be the better route. You'd already have proper brakes and better bushings and such. The original parts are wore out and brakes aren't really adequate for more powerful power plant. That's my opinion any how.

    04 Suzuki Marauder VZ800 Iowa

Hope it's alright to post this here! Have for sale a '04 Suzuki Marauder 800. Good running and riding bike, I just don't have much time to ride. Had a new chain and sprockets installed last fall and now have about 300 miles on them. It comes with saddle bags, back rest/ sissy bar, full face...

    enlighten me

In cars/trucks big smokey burnouts are amazingly fun, but I would never do one on my motorcycle especially to the point of blowing the tire. All it does is tear the crap out of your fender, rim and basically your whole bike lol.

    1957 Chevrolet

Turn it in to a roadster and put a caddy front clip on it. Its an interesting project for sure!

    Sigh...

Sounds like you need a bigger truck with no running boards lol. I feel for ya, I drive a 2wd s10 and it'll get stuck on wet grass!

Yes its a panel, but can anyone tell me more?

Looks to be a 48-52 Ford to me.

I remember now why I hate imports so much.........

Haha. Yes! I had an '81 3/4 that I traded for, had a 400 SB and turbo 400 and cast t-case. Heavy awkward and dirty lol. Not nearly as bad as the clutch I did in my brothers 95 ford escort though and it wasn't as bad as Bam had it. It took me eleven hours straight of cussing and throwing tools...

    stance opinions wanted

Personally, I think the headlights should be mounted higher, like above the front tires when looking at the side profile. Otherwise everything looks perfect!

    Anyone ever do this?

I started a cammed up 305 on a 1000 lb engine stand a few years ago. It was kinda scary, but did work. A 305 is not very heavy nor does of have much torque. I however, would not do it with a big block or anything with some horsepower lol.

Useing a model T front axle........... what are the pros and cons?

You have to remember we're trying to help you and make sure everyone is safe with what they build. I'm sure you can cobble something together and make the T axle work, but why? Its a 90-100 year old piece of steel that took a lot of punishment on a car the was designed for 35mph tops. Now you're...

    Hmmmmmm UUHHHHHHHH weeeelllllll emmmmm.....

$16,350 and 42 bids with reserve not met and about 6 minutes to go. That car is hideous and a waste of a good Rivie if you ask me.

Useing a model T front axle........... what are the pros and cons?

Yep, looks like you spent $50 on yard ornaments lol. Why not just use the VW front suspension, as brake parts and anything else you can think of is available and cheap.
  18. JBailey

    Anyone ever seen these before?

Shoot Don, I still recycle plugs lol. Just hit em with the wire wheel and use em again, but I'm cheap and plugs aren't so much anymore.

    Mini Muscle Car
