Them using all my supplies would be a problem, but my boys are just the opposite..almost 19 and almost 16 and neither one of them have any interest in anything that goes on in the shop..they like my truck projects, but only want to drive them, have no interest in the builds..

Pretty common practice back in th day.. there are 4 old wagons/trailers that were once cars or trucks around our place..one was a model T and one was a 35 Ford..not sure about the others..was probably used for years as a trailer after the sheetmetal was used for something else..

Looked like they built sort of a swingarm arrangement, hinged at the back.. Can you imagine the slip yoke this thing must have on the driveshaft to keep it from coming completely out of the tranny?

Alot of people like the Z to basically follow the front shape of the cab, but it certainly doesn't have to..can be as close or as far from the cab as you want, depends on the look that you like..I'd say don't worry about the motor placement until you finish the Z..you can set the motor just...
