Has anyone used license plates as sun visors? I'm looking to do this and was curious if anyone knew what works best and whether anyone has any photos of what they did?

Looking at possibly purchasing a 1962 mercury meteor as a daily driver and was looking to get a bit more info on the 221. What kind of gas mileage can I expect out of a stock 221 that is paired up with a 3spd trans?
