    We are working on a 53 studebaker post. There is a rectanglecutout under where the pass seat would be . It's factory bead rolled with a lip. Right now it looks like an air intake in it. No luck on Google even looked under repl panels.

    I used sherwin Williams all purpose Sprayed great in bad conditions , they mix colors for you and are always having sales, that's the house paint store not the car paint store. You can also harden it. Not sure about holding up since I'm still wiring the motor but the semi gloss is a nice satin...

    I am usin a proportiioning valve not fully adjust since its not wired , ill check the push rod but the petal and plunger only go in a hair so I don't think that's it have resid valves too disc and drum

    Why not do a frame backhalf? Not sure what you are working on or with it if you wanna drop a mini truck a hair lower you would build a frame out of 2x3 or 2x4 from the fire wall back and welt it to the front clip . That's if it is a factory frame for a tube frame. Or like he said cut the frame...

    I used an angle grinder with a thin blade . An air body saw is great but blades are hard to find around here. Sawsall on the double panels

    Well it's still in the air Love the last scallops too bad that ideas used hah. Actuall the primer and flat black is pretty freakin close in the next to last picture! I was gonna go with 3 points instead 2 .

    Haha Sam My beer comes in a can ! The solo cups are for mixing oil base paint. No laquer forgot and used one for my filler primer and it turned to wet tissue paper just as I poured it out! Close one ! Here's the truck I do recommend the sherwin all surface as far as a mix able oil base

    It's a 44 gmc I have a build thread on here just haven't updated since body work started. Can't decide to paint the actual firewall off white, it's getting the same colored scallops on the sides, or from the body line for the fenders forward. Thoughts ?

    Gotter painted I used sherwin willams all surface , a little high but it was 30perc off. Lays down like a champ sprayed in 40 degree weather with the wind blowing over full solo cups!

    Just my thoughts not from exp. I would be worried about the shrink and stretch from the sun on the metal . I do realize that a lot of body panels are being glued on in factory's but they leave a seam like on late model cab corners . So if you use one of those rediculous expensive 3m panel glue...
