I use the one wire on both my cars, and yes, the engine RPMs need to hit a certain point to "energize" the unit. One car's alt charges as soon as it is started, the other one needs reved a little to make it go but I'm fine with that.

The good thing about the Optima is you can mount it on it's side or upside down. Personally, I don't like batteries near the engine, heat is not a batteries friend, I have both of mine in the trunk.

Something to think about, Not that long ago, right here on RRR, there was a thread bashing the hell out of another forum, and it wasn't the HAMB so as you can see no forum is immune to being rude to another.

It shouldn't be hard at all. I have a plastic fuel cell in my 32, I got my fittings from Speedway Motors. Depending on the application, you would drill holes in the "bottom" of the tank for the fuel outlet and use the fittings like Speedway sells. Many of the kegs are stainless steel now...

I did stainless lines on my 32, flaring it is a real pain in the arse!:mad:
