Doc.... It's "Bermuda Blue" she says. I wanted it to be flat tan or grey but she quickly informed me it was her pickup so there it is gloss Bermuda Blue. It's a color that was originally used on the '50-'51 Willys

Thanks. I had to Google Willys in Bermuda Blue... looks good! [cl

Todays progress.....

I got the new fuel pump/fuel level sending unit installed in the tank while the boss gave the bottom of the bed a coat of bed liner. Then we mounted the bed for the last time hopefully. My shop is too small when this project is scattered all over the place.

I had been hammering on the rear bumper off and on for a couple of days. I've got it about as good as I can get it. The hard part was taking the twist out of it.

Hung it on the rear frame for effect. Need to make the bumper mounts and tighten it up closer to the bed.

Then off to the powder coat guy with both bumpers and the cross bars for the grill. We can't justify the cost of chrome right now. We would rather have A/C.

Thanks fellas.

We got some more painting done.
It's fun to see my brides enthusiasm as we move along with this project. She said today that she can't wait to drive this sucker.
Put the fenders on and she was all smiles. Then we mounted the tail lights and installed the fuel filler neck.

I ran the fuel lines up to the pressure regulator and carb. I need to get set up to check the fuel level sending unit out and put some gas in the tank and check for leaks.
Then we got the radiator adapted to the front grill. We need to get the A/C condenser so I can figure out the mounting for it but it's all going to fit.
