Successful hunt, family time together, meat in freezer. [cl :D[cl

great family shot!

man o man that paint is pretty [cl[cl

Congrats on the hunt, that is going to be one good looking Willy's

Thanks. This old guy would rather go hunting or fishing with my kids and grand kids than just about anything. Just nothing better in my books.

The paint is on the waiting for it to harden good stage then we can start putting it all together for the final time hopefully.

I was secretly on the fence with the shade of blue but, man I like it and that Willys is coming out nice !!!!!!!!!!!

I was right there with you OI. If it was just the blue I would still hate it. The hood and two tone scheme helps it a lot I think

X3. Surely, you're going to mount the trophy! (???)

No trophy mount just an euro mount and tan the hide with the hair on for a wall decor. I could have taken a larger Bull but they are as good to eat as well as a mature cow. I'm all about the freezer. Oryx has a great taste that's better than Elk in my opinion. And I really like Elk meat.

Truck looks Great.[cl
3 Generation shot is beautiful.:D

Torchie

Thanks Torchie.
A good quartering away heart shot will do it every time.

Nothing much photo worthy today. While the paint hardens I thought we had better put a torque convertor in this puppy if we are going to start final assembly. I didn't have one to put in at the time for mock up.

Exhaust and drive shaft tomorrow hopefully before setting the cab back on.

Progress.......

We finally got the exhaust system put together after 3 trips for parts and the drive shaft shortened 19", trued to with in 3.5 thousands and new u-joints.
We can put a few parts back on the cab then mount it back on the frame.

Brides Willys

Thanks all....

My partner in crime is working on the interior sealing and a little sound deadening while I am putting things back in place on the front end. Plus she takes time to help put the fenders and front grille on. I love the fact that she will do what ever it takes to build her project.

Just about to the wiring stage then we can fire this puppy up!!! This is the part I like.

Pops & Mrs. Pops, you did an excellent job on the Willys. You will have many happy miles and smiles driving in it.[cl

Progress.......

Thanks all for the comments and watching our madness!!

My partner finished the sound deadener/sealer and got the carpet installed.
So we were able to get the Vintage Air A/C-Heater hung. They tell me this Mini Gen II unit will cool this small cab, No problem!?? We will see. I need to get 2 short lines made tomorrow to finish the plumbing to the bulk head fitting, then We can continue with the wiring.

After having to change a fuse on My '47 Dodge with the fuse block under the dash I decided this one was going to be under the hood where I can see the damn thing and make for an easier install. I will make a cover for it when it is all said and done.

STILL BEATIN ON IT!!:eek::cool:[S:cool::eek:
