Thanks guys.

She got the 2nd coat of the bed liner on this morning and we pulled the tape. She was still smiling!! She did a good job. I would have had that stuff every where.

We spent the rest of the day getting a bunch more of the stuff ready to paint. She worked on the small stuff while I worked on getting the hood smoothed out a little. Just a little more time in the AM and it will be about as good as I can get it. It's supposed to be warmer tomorrow so maybe we'll get some more painting done.

Progress.......

I got the box for our battery box? finished and installed this morning. Then we got a little painting done the rest of the day. I suggested we do something different to break up the bulbous look of the hood and she went for it. I think it's going look good.

i like that blue, its hard to find a nice blue without going to the metallic bottle blues which I dont think look good on an oldie. but thats a nice clean blue. not too powder, not too medium. [cl[cl[cl[cl

Progress.......

Thanks guys for keeping an eye on me and all your comments.

We had to get the front grill put together enough to figure out the line routing for the A/C. So we set it in position and worked on that a little. We still don't have all the fittings we need, maybe tomorrow.

Then my partner wanted to put the lights on it so she could stare at it. Then she wanted to set the hood on so she could stare at it some more.

The good news is she really likes the way it's looking.
The blue is growing more on me daily.

I really struggle with trying to keep the under hood stuff neat with all the hoses and wiring. And I haven't even started the wiring yet. I usually get to the point where I say to heck with it cause it's all got to be under the hood some where so put it where it will fit and live with it.

Looks great, and I get the same feelings when you start messing up all your nice work with hoses and wiring. I'm surprised how much room there is under the hood!

Put it where it fits and live with it!!!!!

Just stacking it in there....and the all important radio antenna and the
Willys Overland horn button.

We are to the point of taking it all back out and finishing the paint.
