01 ram heater core

i decided to at least freshen up the coolant
while the heater hoses were disconnected i opened the rad drain and pulled/cleaned the overflow tank
then ran water through the rad until clear
closed the rad plug
then using a funnel i filled the new core with antifreeze until it came out the other hose
THEN i filled one of the places on the engine where coolant runs to the heater until it came out the other one.
then filled the overflow tank and the rad with coolant
drove it around until it got to running temp
let cool and checked the rad
it seemed fine
i am wondering if i got all the air out?

I've never done one but I have a friend who is a Dodge tech and he can do one in about 2-3 hours.

i had a GMC 2500 that was the easiest core replacement i have EVER seen
it was in a box below the glove compartment
4 screws and 15 minutes
