It is always one of the most difficult parts of a build when channelling a car to get the grillshell height/ radiator/ front crossmember/ steering components and what not into the area in front of the engine, and get it to look "right". Any one have pics of how you got out of the woods. I have some and will post soon, but camera/computer are having issues at the moment.

Hope this works. As I said getting the "right" look in this area of the car is something im always interested in. It can effect every thing from grill height
to wheelbase. From suicide to stock crossmembers to which steering parts it all plays a part.

Hope this works better. Had to modify steering link. Didnt want to swap spindles due to ackerman issues. Material is 7/8 3/16 wall DOM. Put adjuster sleeve on right side to adjust toe. Ran steering link under radiator.

That's the one area I worked the hardest to get the right look for mine, kept laying the level on the cowl to the rad shell and made sure the bubbles was at the cowl side and not in the middle.
Thanks for posting those shots it gave me some ideas to work with in the headlight, shock mount area, cause that's still a headache I'm working with. At least I'll get back to fabbing after I get back on my feet, knee surgery kinda put a damper on my free time

Hey Geech what are you using for radiator? What size and hp engine? Im
using "66 mustang radiator with a very mild 305 small block chev. Please post some pics if you have any.

mustang radiator also and a 305 with and edelbrock manifold other than that it's stock. I have some pics posted over on the build section "my29rpu" it shows some of the progress pictures. Hopefully I can get some better shots soon, my wife is getting a new digital camera for Christmas and has good resolution so I'll have to make sure it works "properly"

Here's a couple of the pics I found on my computer, lot of little loose ends to finish and no time to do them.
