Here is finally an update on the car. My dad has been getting around to painting in since May, you know how that goes. Lots of stuff going on and it's been 100 degrees for a month. Anyway, he did a great job on it with Eastwood Chassis Black. The engine being painted orange really sets it off. I put on most of the front axle set up. I had big aspirations to put more of it togeather but my dad and I were zapped by the heat after we got the engine and transmission hooked up and mounted. The seats, brake pedal, and steering column are just sitting in it.
Pictures are poor (iphone), but you get the idea. I think it's also easy to get an idea of how low the car will sit when it's all said and done.
PS: I'm really happy I decided to paint the axle web white. It makes a big difference in my opinion.
