Finished assembling the engine yesterday and got it painted today. What a difference some paint and a couple shiny bits make . Time to bring the frame back in and start assembling the chassis.
That's really nice! It will stand out in the engine bay. How do you keep from getting overspray all over everything?
So, have you told or shown the previous owner what has become of the car? Looking back at the first page, this thing is nothing short of a miracle (in my opinion) and he/she should be glad that you reinvented it so it could live another life.

HA No I haven't - I'm thinking of just pulling in his yard when it's finished for maximum shock value .
I can't speak for ZZ, but as far as we know, he hasn't burned the house down yet.

Today my wife ran out of chores for me so I got down to assembling some of the chassis, got the engine mounted too. It's definitely inspiring when you can start putting the finished pieces together!
The brake bleeding is making me nuts, I'm running out of ideas as to what's going wrong...
