So anything new on the build? Been awhile :) Miss the updates and the pics!!

Hey man sorry I missed your post... been tinkering away every few weekends. But this weekend made some notable progress.

It was a big deal for me to get the front tires mounted on the rebuilt front rims, My old man spent a lot of time filling and smoothing out the centers and also filling and creating a nice transition between the center and the outer rim...

We decided to give it a go and mount the tires at home sat, I had myself all worked up for a fight expecting it to be a day long battle. I was pleasantly surprised that it took maybe 5-10 min to get each one mounted.

That being said, I finally got to roll it out of the corner and get a good look at this creation. Plus we really needed to clean, spent 9 hours today cleaning the garage...

here you can see it staring down my dads 57.. i think it is intimidated.. haha

Must have been a treat to roll it out. Excellent proportions, like it came this way from the factory.

NICE! VERY NICE! I like this build and the attention to details. There is always something to see where ever you look on this truck.

3.07 gear in the rear

Thanks for all the kind words guys... it definitely felt good.. and like I might be able to finish it up someday...

Lucky you :) I found out that the rear gear in mine is a 5.86 :(

Found some 3.73's and a carrier just need to get the cash together to get them
