i agree with the chop....but ive never fabricated before,hardly even welded and i didnt have anyone to help me.ive read horror stories about chopping cars like mine.i decided it was a lil too much too soon.but seeing that i now have some experience,my next car ill try the chop

well kinds like the old shelby cobras....at the least itll cover the back seats,possibly go all around leaving only driver seat open

absoltely appreciate your honsety.....i just felt that since i couldnt use the vent windows(due to taking 8 inches out)it needed something to help the flow.

alright heres where were at now.........converted the old 6 volt dist to 12v(condenser and coil)i had a spare fuel pump(original but spare)swapped that put an old worn out carb on it,completelry disassembled and cleaned and rebuilt the original 1941 starter(mouse somehow used the starter to store all his food).pulled te plugs ouiled the cylinders,dumped some gas down it.......SHE FIRED RIGHT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!its amazing how a car that hasnt run in prob 40 years sitting in a field with no carb on it will still fire right up!!!!!!!!!a true tribute to american engineering!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i pulled the valve cover and saw the rockers werent oiling properly so a little disassembly and cleaning and voila!!!!!!!

anyone have a 1bbl carb they can part with????????2 3\4 center to center bolt holes 1 1\2 inch bore on the carb.216 chevy 6 cyl


im gonna try to run this motor till i can get a sbc for her.......im still under 200.00 completely for this whole car!!!!!
