Thanks everyone, I'm leaning toward boxing the frame as well. As for the welds, thank you all very much, but as noted I tend to cheat a bit and roll the frame over so that most every weld I make is a flat one. Not only does it make my life easier, there's nothing worse than getting a hot grape in the ear when doing some crazy overhead weld! The sound of the sizzle inside your ear just isn't nice. My front coil overs showed up so I could finally establish the upper bracket height and install the upper control arm towers. I did a little more welding on the rear step notches, and lots more welding now.
