1955 ford for the grandson

well folks im really new on here , i should start a build thread on my 29 hemi A , but ive got a s--- load of pics to go through and organize , so i will start a new one on the upcoming project my 13 year old grandson and i are going to do . i have the frame , the cab and a bed we got from nevada , ill start with just a couple of pics for now . mikel wants the truck to be "chopped (check) slammed , flat white with 3" wide whites and a hand shaker" (nice choice . got the truck from widow of a hot rod guy , been sitting outside for quite a few years . although the hood , fenders bumper and grill have been inside and in primer . im kicking around putting a 330 desota hemi and pushbutton in the truck (grandson is not sure) i will post more pics of the frame and replacement bed etc.... may need some advise on this one , 1st truck for me and the fact its already been cut (glass concerns etc) ps on the last pic you can just see the cab in the backround , its blasted and we have started on some metal work . later mopar210

well folks , the grandon and i got some work done on the 55 yesterday , just the start , this should be a long but rewarding road .

Sure is good to see you folks working with your sons and grandsons on those special projects. I wish my grandson lived a lot closer to me. He has been a lot of help on my build and he has learned to mig weld and is pretty good on the tig.

My oldest grandson is 4 but he already shows interest, my oldest grand daughter is 16 but wants no part of it, but I've tried good luck on the truck looks good so far.
