Making good progress
Floors, S10 Blazer gas tank, parking brake linkage to stock underdash chrome pull handle.

Had to do a good bit of heat' quench to tighten up the oil can in the floors.

Nice job on the e- brake too...so many leave this out
of the equation [cl[cl[cl

Too hilly where I live to not have parking/ emergency brake.
I used the S10 front and rear cables with the 444 dash pull handle.

Sounds ridiculous, but it took me three days to get it all figured out, adapted and fabricated.

Working on tilt front end (it will only be hood and grill).
Underlying grill structure.

Made some adjustable hinges,
Raised front suspension full up to measure for c-notches

Burned a rack and pinion rubber boot from welding (hint- cardboard is not a good weld shield)

Torchie

Sheesh Torchie, we must be related. My pants didn't work that well either,----- and it turns out that you shouldn't be standing on your tiptoes on a five gallon pail welding, when you discover the flames leaping up to your crotch.

Progress.
Rear tires for rolling around shop are 225/70R15 on Chevy rally wheels while front has old 205/75R14 from S10.
Some of the pics show front right with 15x5 GM rally with 185/80R15 from my stock 63 Volvo 544.

The aluminum wheel that I may use is Vision 148, maybe a little too glitzy for this car.

The grill and hood are welded together and tilt forward using stock rear hood latch.

I like where this is going. Those wheels will look great on it. High/low contrast. Helps mess with the viewer's mind. :D

Anyone have any thoughts on rally wheels with police cap versus the aluminum wheels I posted ?
