Well, upon request I figured I would throw up some pics of this build I have almost completed. '59 Grumman-Olson KurbMaster StepVan. Full engine/trans/rear driveline swap, new American Autowire harness and a lot of fabrication, cleaning and detail work. Started here...

That's what they built first, but after the war they had a whole bunch of surplus aluminum and not enough planes to build. The rest is history. Boats and canoes too...

There was an old guy that retired from the bread company back in the late 1970's that they gave him one of those trucks, I think he drove it when it was new. It was repainted in the company colors, Blue and yellow, minus their logos. He drove it until he died, you'd see him all over town, just like you did when he was working. Don't know what ever happened to it, probably got scrapped by family. Thanks for stirring up the memory!
