Dozer, mine had that 'honeymoon' shifter also, but I had a Poly 318. I sold it to a friend and twenty five years later I bought it back. Here's what you can do with a Poly if you're partly crazy.

Said goodbye to the Fargo

The last post on the Fargo, got the upholstery installed vinyl highlights on the tailgate and one final bug worked out in the ECM. Delivered to it's owner in Alberta and a couple test drives. Definitely the fastest vehicle I have ever built. Almost sad to see it go home.
